Since I’ve been home I’ve been doing a lot of hoping, wishing, telepathically willing work to come my way. And doing whatever I can think of to get work. I’ve been a little obsessed with not a whole lot to show for it. At least not a whole lot to show photographically. But that’s about to change. Real soon. I say this both because I want to will it to happen. And well, because I have actual shoots scheduled. I’m pretty happy about that. I decided to go back to what I did in Atlanta. Ask everyone I knew if I could photograph them. For free. I need referrals. I need cheerleaders. And I need practice.
Eric pointed out to me that I didn’t always have to photograph people. Every morning I wake up surrounded by our half acre of land full of blooming spring flowers. It really is quite beautiful. So today I took his challenge and as he pulled away on his bike for work I pulled out my camera and took a few shots. Because I love taking pictures and I don’t need to wait for an official shoot to pull out my camera.
Thanks, sweetie.
